Elizabeth Mitchell, whom we last saw getting nuked on the finale of Lost, is spilling about her new gig, playing a federal agent fighting aliens on the NBC series “V,” a reboot of the 80’s miniseries. In a recent interview, she revealed that her character is torn between her duty to stop the Visitors, and saving her son, who loves the Visitors. Her partner on the show is played by “Serenity” alum Alan Tudyk.
Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse have both confirmed that Elizabeth will appear on Lost this season, but everyone is mum about the context. Will Juliet live via the timeline being “reset,” or will she live on only in flashbacks? Elizabeth says filming on the two series will not affect the other, but she did say her character will appear “pretty immediately,” and that her fate will be “satisfactory.” We will find out soon enough if Juliet and Sawyer get a happy ending.
